Work

I am fortunate enough to have a job that I love.  I get to work everyday with new technologies and ideas and help bring them to the market.  I get to work with companies who are proactively looking to improve and bring new products and services to the market.  I help them connect with researchers who have deep expertise and can help them solve difficult problems.  I’ve also been fortunate enough to be able to work not only with local companies and researchers, but those across Western Canada through the Western Canadian Innovation Offices which I get to lead.

Previous to my current position, I’ve worked as an independent consultant, a venture capitalist, new product developer, project manager and entrepreneur.

Personal

My main hobby is photography and while I tend to focus on landscapes and macro/abstract work, I do like to stretch and try other genres.  Other hobbies include spending time in nature, travel, reading, music, running, and hiking.
